Donuts for breakfast today! :) After breakfast, we went to the office again. After meeting Sarah, Megan, Nick and Kim yesterday, we now got to meet John, with whom we had been in contact prior to our internship. Today, we were organising a binder, sorting out Christmas stuff, making binders for the Boys and Girls Club and assembling building packages for solar energy powered car thingies. And yes, we built one ourselves too... We still need to test it though. At noon, we joined John to a meeting. At half past three, we went to the Taylor unit of the Boys and Girls Club. The kids were making maracas for the Mexican holiday Cinco de Mayo, which is today. Pictures will be uploaded as soon as possible. In the evening, Dennis and Becky took us out for Mexican food, also for Cinco de Mayo. Of this, too, pictures will be uploaded. After dinner, we went to visit Becky's father. He was on the news today, because a man in France found the remainings of the bonber plane he was on when it was shot down in the Second World War. The people in the nursing home he is staying until he has healed from a broken hip put red, white and blue flowers on the tables and they wore red, white and blue clothes, all for him. Back at Dennis and Becky's place, we played some table tennis matches, which I of course lost. We are now waiting for Becky to retum from the airport, for she is picking up her son who is visiting from Denver, Colorado. More news will follow tomorrow. Goodnight all!!
